Meet our founder and CEO
Miguel is an international education professional. Miguel has extensive experience in educational settings and has undertaken educator, researcher, and leadership roles in K-12 and university environments. His career spans as Head of Foreign Languages, Technology Integration specialist; IT, Languages, and IBDP Core instruction. He also has experience in Experiential Learning and Effective Learning curriculum development and delivery, and LMS administration. Miguel has completed several international assignments for the International Baccalaureate (IB) as workshop leader, verification visitor, consultant, and curriculum reader. Miguel has acted as translator and interpreter in several occasions, and has presented at international events multiple times.
He also serves as manuscript reviewer for ReCALL (Cambridge University Press), IAFOR, Language, Interaction and Acquisition, etc. Miguel has a BA in Translation Studies from Universidad Nacional de La Plata, Argentina, a Certificate in Teaching Spanish as FL, from Universidad Nacional de La Plata, Argentina, a Master’s in Computational Linguistics from Pompeu Fabra University, in Barcelona, Spain, a Master’s in Educational Technology from State University of New York, USA / Qatar, a PhD from Swansea University, UK, and a Certificate in Leadership from Harvard University, HUBSO.
